Thanks to Mark Edmonds for recording his ProMega3. Notes from Mark: they were recorded in Cubase SX and the MP3s rendered from SX. The recordings are the factory presets on the Promega3. The reverb is from the preset and I haven't tweaked the sound at all. 3. I normalized the recordings to -3db.
I don't know how big the sample size is, nor how many layers the instrument uses. I gather that the Promega3 can store up to 128MB of data but I don't know how that is split across the different piano sounds. As for layers, I think it uses a single layer and physical modeling to adjust the sound but don't quote me on this.
