Notes from Mats Helgesson. The grand piano was recorded in stereo with a Røde NT1000 and a Studio Projects C1 microphone. It totals 191 mb. There are 512 samples, or 256 stereo samples, of which 250 are divided into 5 different velocity layers, containing every white key on the piano (recorded 5 times). The other 6 stereo samples are pedal sounds. The pedal noise sounds are below the lowest notes on the piano and I just included them in the mid file where you had your sustain pedal down and up. It´s the only change I´ve made to the mid file, just to show that I have included sustain and damper pedal sounds in the soundfont. There is no reverb or eq, just some dither noise from when I converted from 24 bits to 16.
