Roland RD-300

Sam Ricci Jr was kind enough to provide a recording of his Roland RD300s digital piano. NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE MUCH NEWER RD300SX, THIS IS ONE OF ROLAND'S FIRST DIGITAL PIANOS.

I recorded the keyboard in stereo through a Mackie 1202VLZ, through alt-34, into inputs 1-2 of a MOTU 828 using Opocode's Studio Vision Pro. I converted the files to mp3 using itunes for os 9.

Please note that the RD pianos are not "sampled" but "Structured Adaptive (SA) Sound Synthesis" in Roland-Speak. and EP1 is 16 voice poly, while ep2, clav and harpsi are 10 voice poly. I guess that Piano1 and Piano2 are supposed to be a Steinway, and Bosen, piano3 a Yamaha CP, EP1 a Rhodes and EP2 a Rhodes/DX Layer.
